Abstract

Summary: Upon the basis of cell-wall composition the oral bacteria and appear to form a natural generic group related to and possibly . An aerobic oral actinomycete of the type commonly called has been shown to resemble closely the anaerobic pathogenic which parasitizes man. The cell-wall composition of , and strains is also reported.
